Friday evening (Jan 30) MCCSC held a moonlight ski and approximately 100 skiers came out and had a very pleasant time by all reports. Almost all were non-members with varying levels of experience, none-the-less, the evening went well. About 8 club members were extremely busy fitting out skiers with skis, boots and poles, and providing basic instructions when needed. Although equipment started to run out, in the end it all worked out.

On Sunday morning (Feb 1) the MCCSC hosted the third provincial race for the NB Cup. Sixty-three skiers from across the province and several from Nova Scotia found conditions good and enjoyed the well organized event, made possible by a large number of club volunteers.
